- Knowledge and skills for working with adults with learning disabilities and cognitive difficulties (e.g. following Stroke and Brain Injury).
- Significant experience of developing creative ways to form a therapeutic alliance and tailor psychological interventions to a person’s individual needs.
- Extensive experience of working with clients and families/systems to support them with mental health difficulties, life cycle transitions, adjustment, trauma and in understanding the impact of their cognitive difficulties, and tailoring approaches to enhance independence and quality of life.
- Integrative, systemic work, informed mostly by CBT and Systemic Theories.
- Extensive experience writing high-quality reports in a timely manner for various medico-legal processes and purposes
