Lin is an accomplished Social Worker with extensive experience and expertise in the area of serious and catastrophic case management. With over 20 years of experience of trauma-informed social work, Lin earned her social work qualification in 2004 with an emphasis on disability including mental health needs. She has since undertaken several fitness and nutrition courses before transitioning into the role of Case Manager, where she brings in all her specialisms together, when appropriate.

Throughout her career, Lin has demonstrated her commitment to providing comprehensive inter agency care across the lifespan, working with children, adults and their families. In case management, she specialises in working with individuals who have suffered serious and catastrophic injuries, including brain injuries, where she addresses both their emotional and physical rehabilitation needs. She manages and supervises care teams, builds and monitors ‘good fit’ therapy teams around the client and family, liaises with legal teams, advocates for client needs, chairs professionals meetings and works with diversity, from supporting teams abroad (e.g. in Istanbul) to gender recognition issues.

Lin has a track record of assisting clients who have sustained brain injuries due to road traffic accidents or clinical negligence, often dealing with complex physical presentations and significant care requirements. Her work also involves supporting systems and agencies to understand and work together for best outcomes. As such, she is skilled at managing multi-professional teams, coordinating packages, monitoring holistic outcomes and reporting progress and risks.
