Dr Emma Groves is a compassionate and skilled clinician who prides herself on offering the best service to children, adults, their families and the professional network.


A specialist across the lifespan, with focus on difficulties such as trauma, loss, adjustment to injury, neurodivergence and learning disability, rehabilitation and risk, Emma is well suited to the type of work that serious and catastrophically injured clients require. Additionally, due to her mental health experience she can work with complex presentations where clients have severe and enduring mental health difficulties such as personality disorders, psychotic disorders and bipolar disorder.

Emma takes a compassionate and collaborative approach to psychological support which is rooted in psychological theory and evidence-based practice. Trained in a number of therapeutic modalities, Emma is able to draw upon different approaches in order to offer a holistic and individualised approach to psychological support. Emma is particularly passionate about trauma-informed care and formulating comprehensive treatment plans that fully meet the needs of our clients, their families and care teams, including our diverse clients.
