Dr Lisa Lee-Falcon
Lisa is a Clinical Psychologist serving Maidstone and surrounding areas.
Her specialism is working in acute inpatient settings, primarily with older adults. Those admitted include people presenting with high levels of risk to themselves and others due to mental health difficulties, and with behaviours that challenge due to dementia.
Lisa works with staff, patients and families to reduce behaviours that others find challenging using models such as the Newcastle and CLEAR models. She carries out formulation sessions with patients, staff and families, and offer evidence-based intervention plans for all to follow.
She also work in the community, carrying out neuropsych assessments for dementia diagnosis, support with grief, loss, adjustment to various physical health conditions as well as mental health difficulties.
Lisa often works with older adults experiencing difficulties with mental health due to various physical health diagnoses including neurodegenerative conditions. She also offers support after a diagnosis of dementia. Lisa has been working remotely with working-age adults, including people with a diagnosis of PTSD, anxiety and depression.
Lisa uses a variety of models including CBT, EMDR, systemic, narrative, and solution-focused. She has experience of working with complex trauma, which is often the cause of referral to the inpatient or community services. This can include trauma due to accidents, physical and sexual abuse.
Lisa is registered with the HCPC.
