Dr Laura Krieger
Laura is an experienced HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist who has worked with children, adults and their families in various disciplines for over 13 years. Laura has extensive experience of delivering a range of psychological interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and Family Therapy.
Laura has previously worked in NHS services (in Fife, Scotland and Inner London) assessing and treating people across the lifespan with mild, moderate and severe mental health problems (including diagnoses of anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder and psychosis).
She has also worked in a Learning Disability service (in North London) providing psychological assessment and intervention for individuals and their wider professional and family networks.
Laura also has specialist experience of assessing and treating individuals who are struggling to adapt or cope in their social or occupational environments following an accident or illness which has affected their physical or mental health. Working in a multi-disciplinary way is vital to Laura’s work.
Laura is a regular visiting lecturer to the Institute of Psychiatry teaching a variety of topics including CBT, Family Therapy and Early Interventions for Psychosis.
