Alice attended the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Programme at Leicester University from 2009 to 2012. At this time she developed a particular interest in Positive Behaviour Support and the use of Compassion Focused Therapy with clients, families and care teams.

Alice has spent the last six years working as the lead psychologist in a specialist NHS service, where she developed specialist skills in working with people who have a significant cognitive impairment and mental health difficulties and their family, community or care team (system). She works systemically, treating not just the the individual in receipt of services, but also those around them with compassion, recognising them as important sources of wisdom and experience in understanding the needs of those they care for. She is particularly skilled at assessing behaviour that others are finding difficult to understand and cope with. Alice is passionate about helping people understand their difficulties and identify what they need. She supports people to communicate those needs to the people around them and enables the system to meet those needs.

She is on the private practice register which includes AXA, Aviva and Vitality.
