Dr Cara Davis
Dr Cara Davis is an HCPC registered chartered clinical psychologist who has been working with children and adults in various fields of psychology for over 10 years.
She has many years of experience working in hospital and community settings with children, adults and families living with chronic, life-threatening and life-limiting conditions in Bristol and the surrounding area. Cara’s doctoral research explored parent-child relationships for children with learning disabilities.
Cara has extensive experience of offering specialist assessment, intervention, consultation and training to individuals, families and professionals.
She routinely works in partnership with clinicians and families to ensure equal access to high quality service provision. She has presented this service improvement work nationally and internationally. She is currently Chair of the national paediatric renal psychology network.
She is also a regular visiting lecturer to the University of Bath clinical psychology doctoral programme where she teaches paediatric health psychology.
